GameSmart News, Events and ClassesNew GameSmart Build Avaialble
A new build of GameSmart is now available in the File Cabinet. This new build focuses on the "Grid Game" - a turn-based, sprite-based game creation system that helps to teach basic game design concepts and event-based programming.
The build contains a number of examples covering level creation, creating dynamic objects and using timers and counters.
The build expands on last November's GameGrid with the addition of new examples, lives, level restarts, scores, powerups and a ray gun weapon. This is the technology the was used in the 2009 College for Kids class at Monmouth College.
You can download this build at the link below.

GameSmart at College for Kids
GameSmart was once again featured in College for Kids at Monmouth College. This year, the focus was on GridGame, with many enhancements over last year.
On Saturday, November 15th, we will be holding our second GameSmart game camp at the Prairie Tech Learning Center. The camp will run from 8am - 8pm.
During the camp, participants will learn about the GameSmart technology and will spend the day designing and programming their own game.
